Ruins of Ephesus

Jul 17, 2013 by Marry Colum

The tour of Ephesus was a lot of fun. The guide told us of how close the sea use to be to where the city was and we were able to view \"Roman toilets\" if one can image that. The pillars of Hercules was a great photo op as was the \'Library of Ephesus\" and I had my picture taken in both places. It is amazing to look out over the land where so many of our historical and Biblical leaders lived and visited. You do not have to be a \"history buff\" to enjoy the tour. It was hot and dusty but I did not even notice that until we were leaving... so glad I made this trip.

“About Ephesus Tour”

Aug 15, 2012 by Agatha Kim

We were a party of six from Brasil and were given a tour of Ephesus and the surrounding area. We were picked up early and we were able to beat the crowds at the House of the Virgin Mary. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and informative. he made our day a very enjoyable experience. The tour was well paced and very comfortable in a air conditioned van. We especially enjoyed the Terrace Houses at Ephesus and recommend that visitors should not be intimidated by the number of stairs. Most of the morning was spent at the ruins of Ephesus. This was followed by a lovely Turkish lunch
