Fethiye to St Nicholas Island

Guests will be collected from any centrally located hotel in Fethiye around 10:00 am to meet in the Alaturka office for check in. You will then all be taken to your gulet for a briefing about your cruise. You then depart Fethiye harbor around 11:00 am to 11:45 am and cruise to Butterfly Valley for swimming, lunch and an optional hike up to the waterfall. Butterfly Valley is known to be the home to over 136 different types of butterflies and moths, however in the summer months, they can be difficult to spot. Afterward, you will visit the most photographed beach in the world – Oludinez. Here you have the optional excursion of going paragliding. You will take off from Babadag Mountain, 2000 meters and fly over Oludeniz beach and Blue Lagoon. This is one of the best spots in the world for paragliding and will offer you the most fantastic and spectacular views! Please look into pre-booking this activity either online for special online rates; with our friendly office crew or last minute let your captain know on departing Fethiye. Tonight you will anchor down at St. Nicholas Island, where you will have time to walk up through the island’s ruins and sit and enjoy the sunset. (L, D)

St Nicholas Island to Kas

Today you will wake up just outside of Kalkan in the beautiful Aquarium Bay for breakfast and a swim. You will then cruise onto Kas, which is a small fishing village with some of the best shopping in the area, especially unique jewelry pieces. You will be given time to explore the local shops, including much handmade jewelries, clothes stores and some local cafes for great coffee. For those interested in the optional extra of diving, you will be transferred out to the diving boat to go scuba diving in what is said to be the best place to dive in Southern Turkey. Get the chance to dip in the beautiful clear waters of the Southern Mediterranean with some sights offering a cave dive or even a wreck dive. Be sure to look at booking this optional extra online before your cruise to receive an online discount. The night is spent in one of the secluded bays between Kas and Kekova. (B, L, D)

Kas to Gokkaya Bay

Today after breakfast you will cruise onto the Sunken City, an ancient town that dates back 2000 years to the Lycian period and was destroyed by an earthquake. You will cruise over this protected World Heritage site nice and slowly enjoy the view, however, no swimming, diving or snorkeling is allowed in this area as it is now a protected site. Afterward, you will anchor down to visit Kekova and Simena Castle, where you can walk to the top and witness a magical view over the bay. For the night, we anchor down in Gokkaya Bay, and there is a chance tonight to go party at the nearby bar, Smuggler’s Inn. Meet up with other travelers from other boats, for a night of dancing under the stars. A free boat service will pick you up and regularly runs all night. If you don’t want to party, only relax and chill out on the gulet. (B, L, D)

Gokkaya Bay to Demre

Today will be an excellent and lazy start to your day. Resting off any sore heads from partying the night before you wake up and have time for a morning swim. After breakfast, you will head past Pirates Cave on your way to Demre Harbour, also known as Cayagzi (Andriake) Harbour to arrive before lunch at 10:30/11:00 am. It is time to farewell any of your passengers who may depart at this time. You will then be offered the chance to be taken into Demre town where you can go on to explore the ruins of Myra or wander around the shops before being transferred back to the boat around midday, 12:30 pm for lunch and to welcome aboard any new passengers for the cruise back to Fethiye. Afterward, you will sail back to see the Sunken City, an ancient town that dates back 2000 years to the Lycian period and was destroyed by an earthquake. Gokkaya Bay to Liman Agzi or Firnaz Bay

Today you cruise back onto Kas, for some more shopping, or you may like just to sit down in one of the local cafes for great coffee and watch the world go by. If you are interested in the optional extra of diving, you will get the chance to do it again here. Be sure to look at booking this optional additional online before your cruise to receive an online discount. After your time in Kas, you will sail into an area not far from Kalkan and anchor down in one of the beautiful bays that are found in this field. (B, L, D)

Firnaz Bay or Liman Agzi to St Nicholas Island

This morning wake up to the vivid blue ocean and find yourself in Butterfly Valley. Take time out for a swim or go for another optional hike up to the waterfall. Afterward, you will visit the most photographed beach in the world – Oludinez. Here you have the optional excursion of going paragliding. Maybe you missed out on the way down to Kekova, or maybe you loved it again and wanted the chance to fly over this fantastic scenery again. Please look into pre-booking this activity either online for special online rates; with our friendly office crew or last minute let your captain know on departing Fethiye. Tonight you will anchor down at St. Nicholas Island, where you will have time to walk back up through the island’s ruins or you may just want to head straight up to sunset point to enjoy the view. St Nicholas Island to Fethiye

Your last day on the boat will be an excellent and lazy start. You will wake up at St Nicholas Island where you can enjoy a morning swim and breakfast before cruising around to one of the bays near Fethiye for lunch and a final swim. You will then sail into Fethiye Harbour anytime between 12:30 – 1:30 pm after lunch for disembarking the boat. It is time to farewell new-found friends and your friendly crew. Please note: transfer services onto Fethiye Hotels is not included. (B, L)
